The Trip: This trip will be an opportunity of a lifetime: expect to experience America in the most unique way possible: Embrace every moment you spend on this journey, with the ground spread out beneath your feet. Don't put yourself in another summer routine; lounging around in the heat! It will be a challenge and will require consistent training and persistence.
You may ask: Is it hard? Not if you have the right attitudes. It's the right attitudes that are hard.
The Cause: Through the politics, headlines, commercials, and everything else thrown at us, it is easy to lose sight of what is truly important.
We believe that every hungry person should have food available to them, and it is a disgrace that we are not doing all in our power to ensure this. It may seem like hunger only exists in foreign lands that we cannot (take the time to) relate to, but it happens closer to home than we'd like to imagine. Someone's uncle, brother, best friend, little sister, is going without a meal tonight.
We've seen urgent commercials, and change the channel. We've heard the statistics, and moved on. We've heard of the sorrow, and the hunger, and we change the subject.
So now is the time to be proactive. Help those who cannot help themselves. Ride across the country with us, spreading the message. Pedal to feed.

"We don't try and challenge adventure because it's hard. We try and challenge adventure because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But adventure, poetry, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
